Some of you have already run into me in other forums, some of you haven't (you might be the lucky ones - ), so I'll post a basic intro and then back to reading.

I'm a soon-to-be second-time full-timer, first-time solo'er. My husband and I full-timed for 2 years while we worked. After his cancer diagnosis, we eventually sold the motorhome and got into motorcycling. He held on for almost 4 years, passing away in Nov 2004.

I spent 7 months of 2005 traveling the country, solo, on my motorcycle. I managed to hit 42 states (27k miles), missing only the New England states (thanks to Tropical Storm Tammy & then ensuing rain, winds, flooding, road outages). "My Trips"

Now ready to start my next adventure....after much encouragement from my kids (who know I must be part Gypsy), I put my house on the market in March. I now have a contract and should close the end of July.

So presently I'm spending all my time sorting out stuff for yard sales, the kids, to be packed away and to keep with me. In my spare time I am searching for my "wheel estate" as well as reading anything and everything. Still not fully decided about MH vs toy hauler, but the MH is as about 65% now (probably gas).

I plan to workamp at least one season, boondock when I can, stay monthly (or at least weekly) to keep costs down so I can live within my fixed income.

Phew - oh, yeah. Between us hubby and I had 6 kids (none "ours") and between them they have 15 grandkids (CO, NY, OH, GA & soon to be FL).

Ya'll are lucky....I've asked most of the really dumb newbie questions in the other forums.

Thanks for the welcome, Jim. REALLY wish I could make the event....I'm just south of Cookeville so the Dragon is an easy ride from here. But yard sale preparation & implementation comes first....have to be ready to out of the house in 6 weeks. I have SO much stuff to sell yet....LOL!

Donna, welcome to iRV2.com. We are gla d to have you join us. Reading your intro reminds me of when my wife and I sold our house to go full time. There was a lot to do but it all fell into place and we have not regretted it. Let us know how we can help with questions on MH or Toy Hauler and we will do our best. Good luck and enjoy!

Thanks for the welcome, Mike! I know it will all happen...eventually. It's a little more challenging because I'm a widow in an area where I don't really have many friends (we moved here less than 2months before my Mike passed). But I do have great neighbors....just have to get past the not liking to ask favors.

I just have to remind myself it's only STUFF and that what doesn't sell will just get donated. LOL!

Wow...glad you are here. Have you seen some of the clas C's with a toy hauler garage on the rear. Might be your solution.

Gender nor age should slow you down on finding happiness.

[second try to reply - sorry if I end up with two posts]

Thanks Rich, I'm spending days working on sorting for the yard sale and nights looking for the perfect used rig.
