Ok I'm ready for the next big adventure

ok I have to give a disclaimer, I have a learning disability and my writing is not that good, but I am smart.... (a smart butt counts)

Hi, I'm Mike and I would like to start off by saying thank you as I have been doing a lot of reading on here, in fact studying a lot of your all post. as life has brought me to a new road to travel.

I have owned trailers and Motorhomes in the past but they were just for the weekend or maybe a week camping trip.

well I got me a 34 foot 5th wheel a few days ago and had the pleasure of outfitting it and have a few more days to go before I start my first of many big trips 6 to 7 weeks starting in SoCal taking the 10 to the east coast then up to Bosten then making my way back on the 40, leaving Friday first stop Vegas, only going about 400 to 500 miles when I move and most places only staying a day or two (just depends how good the fishing is ) first big stay will be in New Orleans for Mardi Gras, next big stay with being NC for some big tuna fishing, then Bosten. just going to wing it on the way home stop where it looks right.

anyway just wanted to say HI and looking forward reading more of your post,

ODP

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new rig. You have planned a HUGE trip. Think about more time in different places rather than try and "see" it all in one trip.

You are joining a good group of folks here with good info to share.

Good luck and enjoy the adventure!

thanks.

we were going to do part of this trip by flying and staying in hotels, but I'm retired and my wife is not, so I'm am driving to destinations and my wife is flying in for the vacations and then flying home for work than flying back for the next one and so on. Now just making the best out of the drive.
