Old RV'r new to site

Hello; I am new to this site and just wanted to intro myself. My wife and I are originally from central Pa. and came to Colorado in 1977 in our 1985 Holiday Rambler 30' tt and a 8' truck camper for camping. We lived in our tt for about 7 years until we " settled ". Well, I just bought another HR 31' tt 1984 and in the process of restoring it. I look forward to meeting you folks and sharing my years of working on RV's. Sincerely 1way

Welcome to the forum. We just returned from Colorado on a motorcycle ride and that is a beautiful state.

Did I read that right; you came to Colorado in 1977/in your 1985 HR?

Hello Kenautoone; Yes, that is true. We sold our house in Pennsy in 1975 and we left in 1977. We bought our first HR 30' with a 8' camper on our 1973 Ford f-250 camper special. We ended up in Colorado Springs Co. and have been here ever since. 3 yrs. ago i bought another HR 31' imperial for $500 and was dirty but overall was in good shape except I needed to replace the rubber roof. I bought the complete kit off the internet for $720 and was a job but not too bad. That is where i'm at now. Well i need to get busy, nice chatting.
Blessings to you all 1way
