Greetings All! We reside in West Jordan, UT., and have been RVing since 1991, and previous to that tent camping since 1977. Purchased our latest TT (Layton 2950) in 2000 as an "Adult RV", less kid space and more room for us to enjoy our mid life adventures. Currently pulling with a 2004 Dodge 1-ton dually diesel 4WD, and enjoy the experience. Our favorite camp site is anywhere away from work/home! Pine trees, desert, red rocks, lakes, you name it, we camp there. I'm looking forward to the discussions here, as we are getting ready to go into another phase of our RV lifestyle, and are always interested in other peoples thoughts, opinions, and ideas. I'll post a picture of our rigs on this site as time permits.
Travel Safe,
Bob and Kathleen Hartman

Thank you for your welcome, FatDog, and as I think Utah is still considered a Western State, we fall into your area!

'my area' merely designates where i like to drag my toyhauler;
but like you, I also think of Utah as a Western State, as well as a wonderful State of Mind,
and speaking of which i have already enjoyed reading a couple of your posts as i wander around the site here. A good state of mind indeed. Funny how RVing or even talking about it can do that to a person ehhh???

darn glad to have you here !,
Mike and Cordie

Well, as I said earlier, we have been doing this (RVing)for a good many years; now we are starting to get a lot more serious about it. Kids are grown, so we have a little more selfish attitude right now about our time, although we often that the two grandchildren camping with us. Toys? Mountain bikes, boat, canoe, kayak, camera..and love to cook. I don't do "camping food." Much more cosmopolitain fare in our camps. One other couple from our area that we camp with a lot, all of us enjoy the RV life. I know Kathleen and I will be doing some nerly full time RV life when we retire.
