I'm new to the RV department (and full time retirement) but plan to put some miles on a new-to-me Class C rig this spring, traveling from Virginia to the western national parks -- Arizona, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, South Dakota. I'll be asking for help, from places to go, to operation of my equipment, maintenance and the rest. One piece of equipment I'll be looking for before heading out is a dolly to haul a small car along.

Thos,

Welcome to the forums. And congratulations on retirement. It is still a few years off for us. Please refer to the following thread for some discussion about tow dollies. That is what we use and have been very satisfied.

surge brakes or electric ??

Happy travels.

Don

Welcome Thos,
That's a trip that everyone must make sometime in their lifetime. Mt Rushmore, Devil Tower, Cody, Grand Tetons, and Yellowstone for starters. Fill in the gaps with however much time and money you. The friendly folks here can probably answer most any question you might have about your rig.

Wall's Drug store and the Corn Palace. Anyone who has travelled out west has been to both. Good ice cream at Wall's but very bad parking.
