OOPS

I posted a thread and replied to it already before I read the message from 007 requesting that we introduce ourselves to the forum.
The wife and I have a Travel Supreme 38' motorhome that we get to use on weekends and for a trip or two during the year. We are hoping to spend more time on longer trips, but I still work for a living.
We started out with my Mother's Airstream motorhome in 2003. We got the TS in 2008. Houston, TX is home.
We are looking for a place to go in Louisiana or Mississippi where we can meet our friends who have a boat that they will stay in.
We can recommend some excellent places to go in Texas.
I hope we can be helpful to the community.

AccessMaster;

Welcome to iRV2. We are happy you joined us. Your camping schedule was just like ours because I was still working. My DW & I really looked forward to those long trips. Post often and share your RV adventures with us. Don't be afraid to ask questions.

Welcome to the forum. We will be in Texas sometime this year to visit my parents...around Austin.

Welcome to the forum. We are from Central Louisiana and know the states camp grounds pretty well. Because of the high cost of fuel, we have been staying close to home, which means we are spending more time in our states CG's. If you go to ReserveAmerica web site and put in Louisiana, it will list all state cg's. A lot of them are on lakes and rivers and all are nice. There are private owned CG's that are also nice, however check the reviews before you go to some of the private CG's. Another nice CG is at the casino in Marksville, LA. They have an 18 hole golf course, movie theater and of course the casino if you feel lucky. I would make reservations before going to Marksville, since they stay full most of the time.

If you would like further information, I will be happy to help.
