This simply is not true. At the top of the message box (Advanced) is a paperclip icon. Click on that icon and in the upper left of the page that opens you'll get a 'Browse' window. Hit one of the browse buttons and navigate the photo (or photos) you want to upload to your post. Once you've done that hit "Upload". You can upload 4 photos at a time, up to a dozen, I think, to any single post.

I've never posted my photos used here elsewhere, including the illustration attached in this one.

Below the browse buttons there is a chart showing how large any one image can be, depending on it's format, but more than likely, no, you won't have to resize, unless you're taking really large resolution photos.

Jay's got it. Clicking the paperclip (once you've clicked the button) is the easiest way to get photos from your computer into your posts.

It works the same way, but you can also click on the Go Advanced button (if you are typing in the Quick Reply Message:box), then scroll down the page & click on the Manage Attachments button. The same window will open where you can browse your computer & upload photos.

For most pictures, the auto-resizing works like a dream. I've had only a handful of photos backfire, but they were landscapes & HUGE file sized.

Barb,

That looks like a nice coach! My wife and I are trying to decide on the spot for our first trip! Panama City is near the top of the list but it might be a bit far.

Is this your first RV?

Don't feel bad, Roger. I didn't know about that paperclip thingy either until Jay told me about it a yr or so ago. I was uploading to the photos section & then adding the photos with the [img][/img] method. Even us longtimers can learn from the newer members.

We had several types of Class A and trailers in the 80's. This is the nicest one we ever had.

Keep posting your adventures. Those of us stuck in the icy frozen north live vicariously through our warm weather travellers.
