Quartzite winter trip

My spouse and I are heading to Quartzite this November. I was asked to work 20 hr's a week for trade for my lot and electric in Yuma, but I don't know if I would just rather get some solar panels and just stay at the BLM"s. Anyone have any suggestions?

Howdy and welcome Crystlervrep,

I am a HUGE fan of solar and terribly lazy (hate work), so, it would be an easy choice for me!!

Solar has a steep learning curve initially but lots of info available and plenty of people willing to help if you are willing to listen and learn.

Setup your signature with your RV so we can see what kind of rig you are working with.

If you are considering solar, Q is a great place to go for help and to purchase all you need. I would go solar over working any time. Also consider volunteering for the BLM, you can look into it while you are there

are there RV places in Q that install solar? do guys drive around and do on site installs?
I am so new that I have to guess Q is a place for snowbirds that is BLM? I have seen one pic so far. AS a guy who always hated RV parking at paid sites. (cost, and just to close for comfort) THis interests me. What are things to do? fishing? RC flying? swimming?
What is the smallest rigs? Single ladies?
