Welcome.. time to have fun.. but, don't get too anxious without defining what your wants and needs are. We probably all suffer from not keeping our first rig too long.. Think it all out.. but most of all.. enjoy the time of the search.

Best 2 ya

Taking your advice here so looking for a cheap second hand rig say 34-36 with or without slide somewhere in 1990-2000yr range...like the look of the Fleetwoods, Bounder, Pace Arrow so far to make a travelling home for us and our three furry "Masters".

Buying a RV?

Does anyone know of a list of what to look for in buying a RV and what questions to ask? Thanks again for the warm welcome

Cheers

I agree with you re the space and coming from a four level 4 bed old farmhouse circa 1860 I think I shall need it, even if it is in the lounge dining area only. One question though...we are thinking about an RV advertised nearby (well few 100miles) but they say there is a leak from the slide (not sure where but they did mention that the area near the drivers seat would need some attention as well) and that scares me as we are not very handy people (yet) and dont want to be stuck with costly repairs (in fact it has put hubby right off). What should we be looking for besides telltale stains? Really appreciate any help here as we will be purchasing this month some time?

Can anyone help me with the where and how to post an enquiry. We drove our RV back from New York State without any problems. It has been sitting for the past 2 days till I went out to put some stuff inside and the steps kept making a noise after I went inside like they were trying to pop out but nothing..........the furnace kicked in (????) and now we cant get the steps to come out. Tried jumping a charge to the engine 12 volt battery but no luck????????
