Well this RV stuff is about foreign to us as being in another country that doesn't speak English. But we sure are going to give it a try and looking forward to new adventures, meeting people, and exploring the countryside.
We travelled many years ago when with a major airline, and then stopped because we had two dogs (Bonnie and Clyde) that we couldn't bear to kennel or leave behind. The only real way we could get back on the road was to take them with us. So for over a year we have been"looking" for the right RV. Fortunately, we came upon a used 2004 Winnebego Vectra that seems to be a perfect fit for us. While I am overwhelmed with the size of the coach and the amount to be learned, my husband is excited to be back in the cockpit. After test driving, I remember the grin on his face and when he looked at me and said, "this is cool!", I knew this was going to be our coach.
We will take our first short trip in a couple of weeks and will take all the crossed fingers and good luck that anyone can send us.
Stay Safe,
Darlene and Rick
