Renovating '98 Sea Breeze by National RV

Hello to all! I've been "lurking" on this forum for several years now - thought it was high time to actually join!

The hubby and I recently purchased a 1998 Sea Breeze by National RV. She's in sound shape mechanically - but needs a GREAT deal of TLC as far as redecorating the interior, cleaning/polishing up the exterior, getting our systems and appliances checked/upgraded, etc.

We've already put six new tires on her, got an oil change/lube, recharged the AC, replaced front sway bushings, and a few other things.

She's got 68,000 miles on her. We knew how much work she needed so we REALLY beat up the dealer selling her. She was originally listed at $13.5K. We ended up paying what the dealer paid - $4,900. Our (ideal) budget is an additional $5K for repairs, maintenance and upgrades. The above noted items have taken about half that budget thus far.

We're celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary this year, so we're renovating her for a cross-country trip in September/October from PA to CA and back (both to see the country and visit our son and DIL.)

I'm a writer and have done research/appearances on a couple of TV shows. My husband is a recovering radio morning man, so - of course - we're blogging and doing videos about this crazy project, LOL - mostly to entertain our family and friends.

I look forward to meeting other Sea Breeze owners, and to good RV conversation in general.

Thanks for adding me!

Welcome and take it slow. Mechanical issues first. Brakes wipers heaters water pumps .Filters fuel, air
And have brake fluid changed. Go through all repair receipts and go from there.
