Retired in North Carolina

Been camping, RVing, & traveling my whole life. My wife and I have owned either popup campers or motorhomes for the past 30+ years. We just recently bought a new Jayco Redhawk 26xs. We went with a smaller class C this time because our 13 year old son is 6' and growing. He needed a dedicated, large, comfortable bed as the foldout couches ( Airstream Land Yacht)no longer worked for him. The popups no longer work for me. My three heart surgeries have made setting up a popup too much work for me. We had custom ordered and purchased a 2011 Jayco 1208 with all the options, including the electric lift. Even as nice as that popup is, it was too hard for me to deal with. Decided to sell it and bought a motorhome that had what we wanted, which included a lard bed for our son.
