Return to RVing

Hi, my wife and are and have been retired for about 4 years now and we have decided to get back into RVing. We started RVing or actually camping together back in the 70's. We started like many young couples with a tent and progressed over the years through truck campers, travel trailers, 5th wheels, Class A motorhomes and even motorcycle camping. We currently own a Ford Excursion with a 7.3L diesel so our interest is limited to travel trailers for the time being. If it turns out that we can't find a quality, large travel trailer then perhaps a new tow vehicle will be in order so we can look at 5th wheels. We sold our Travel Supreme Class A motor home back in 2004 and haven't been RVing since. We did some camping for several years (2004-2006) with a custom made trailer behind our Harley Ultra Classic.

We can't pass an RV dealer without stopping in to see the new models and been spending a fair amount of time researching different travel trailers on the internet. However, nothing replaces the information fellow RVers can provide on forums such as this. All the units look great in the photos online or in the literature, but our past experience has taught us to take the time and ask the experts, "the actual users". I hope to learn all about the current options available on this site, as well as meet new friends and add positive feedback information whenever the opportunity arrises.
