Returning New Member - Kentucky Fifth Wheel

Hi All-

I joined several years ago, as my wife and I were looking at getting a fifth wheel. Life happened, as did a set of rambunctious twin girls, and we didn't get around to getting one. Fast forward to this week, we're finalizing everything with the dealership, and will be picking up our new Heritage Glen 368RLBHK on Wednesday or Thursday and heading straight to our local state park campground to begin the annual halloween festivities. We've never camped, but always wanted to. I'm an avid bass fisherman, and the idea of being able to camp close to the water when I'm fishing a tournament, or just fun fishing with the family is awesome. We're also hoping to be able to take quick trips down to Pigeon Forge, and go to some new places that we've never been before. I turn 30 this spring, and want to 'live' a little.

I'm pretty excited, as are my 3 kids and wife. I've got a lot to learn, but luckily two close friends are big in to camping, and we've got a spot reserved right between them so that we'll have plenty of help getting started.

-Jonathan

BACK, from WA State!

Yes, life happens! I got my first TT in 1968 when I was 21. Fortunately I was able able to keep my RV's even through 3 divorces and the 4th wife (now deceased) also liked to RV.
So here I am at almost 71 getting ready to sell the stick house and go full time. Still have a step grandson living with me, he graduates in June.

Wow, I have a feeling we'll continue to have one for quite some time. I'm itching to go pick it up. Thursday can't come soon enough.

Hello Jonathan. Welcome back and I hope you and your family have many great experiences. Looks like we are from the same town! We live on the Clark/Montgomery county line.
