Roadside assistance with or without tire insurance

Hi Everyone,
This is Keith And Sharyn and we are newbies. Just bought but not delivered a 2016 Fleetwood Southwind 34A. Looking into road side assistance like Good SAMs. Other plans offer tire replacement or rims in case they can't be fixed. The first is $80 and the other is $800. They both offer towing and the other features. The difference is a lot!! Just not sure what kind of protection u need with new tires. We hope this is not a stupid question.

Thanks Sharraz1212

I really like my CoachNet plan. Had GoodSam but switched to CN.

Used them 3 times over the years, stellar service each time.

Never looked in to a tire plan. $800 will buy you a new tire and rim or get you very close. Unless you are forced to buy a tire in BC in the middle of nowhere, $745.00 for the tire, Rim was ok.

I won't be without roadside asst plan Good Sam Coachnet or FMCA are all liked or hated .. Depends on who you hear from. Tire replacement plans are not my cup of tea. You can buy a tire roadside at outrageous gotcha prices for 800 bucks! And the real truth .....it's very unlikely you will need to replace a tire. Provided of course you maintain proper air pressure and replace every 6-7 years as recommended.
It is more likely you will have a breakdown of some type and towing can be several times more expensive

I have been with Coach Net for years and I love them.
You can insure your tires but the cost your talking about would more than buy a new tire.

Back in the good old days, when you purchased a new coach, you were given a year free of Coach Net from the dealer. Well, it wasn't really free as you paid for it. I have retained CN and have no problems with it but I have only used it once in 14 years for a 66 mile tow
