Rookie
We just bought a 2013 Jayco Eagle 284bhs and a 2000 Ford F250 last weekend and are taking it out for our first time camping this Friday. Very excited and very nervous. We will be dry camping and will be trying to figure out everything and praying we will not be stuck out in the middle of the mountains of Utah not knowing how to work anything! My wife and I are both in our late 20's and have 2 daughters (3 years old and 4 months old) as well as a 3 legged dog, so this should be interesting to say the least. We will only be an hour from home but still very nervous that I will either a) run the batteries dead b) not figure out the generator/inverter c) run out of water d) attract bears e) run the LP dry with our fridge. So yeah, kinda scared but VERY happy to begin this adventure and create life long memories with our kids and show them places most kids dont get to see these days because they are stuck behind a TV/iPad/Xbox...

Welcome to the forum. Congrats on the new rig. I think you will do fine, just keep a check on things and like you said your not to far from home and if you have problems you can go and find someone to help. Just have afun and enjoy the time with your family. If you find that something is confusing take notes so when you get back you can ask question on here or where you bought your rig. Also make notes on what things didn't work for you like how you load your camper or packed things in storage or didn't have enough towels or cookware, dishes etc. because when you get home you will not remember. Good luck and safe travels and many happy camping memories.

This is true but take them any way, thing happen like rain.
My kids we went camping and one thing they recalled years later
they didn't get to take a game.. They kid me now that they have kids.
