Rookie from N.E. Georgia

Hi Everyone, We just bought 05 Winne Journey last month. Really enjoying it (three dogs like it too!) . This web site is amazing! Hope to learn lots about what to do (and not) and places to camp. Hope we can share stuff with you as well. Initially, we will do round trips between GA mountains and FL but hope to branch once we get a wings.

Hello, afrenz, from another Northeast Georgian. We would love to have you camp with our Currahee Campers sometime. We will be camping again in mid-June. My DH and I live in the Commerce/Homer/Carnesville area.

Welcome Afrenz. I own a 2004 Journey, my second Winnebago product, and I believe Winnebago is one of the best. I reading the other comments I can tell you Currahee is a Good Sam chapter. I know most if not all their members and enjoy being with them. You may be fammiliar with good Sam but may not know that there are 30+ local chapters in Georgia that are made up of Good Sam members that camp together on a regular basis. Much like the chapters you a;ready belong to. Remember it's not the destination its the Journey that is so enjoyable.
