RV ing To Mexico
Hello fellow RVers, I'm trying to find groups that travel together. I'm trying to figure out as much as possible about RVing into Mexico. The must have list. License, Ins, Permits, etc. Any advice would me much appreciated.
Gracias
JP.

Try Adventure Caravans. They might give you some ideas. Personally, I wouldn't go with current unsafe conditions. Eddie Elk.

There is a guy out of BC, Canada that takes caravans to
Mexico all the time. I believe he charges around $120/day
and this covers most of everything except fuel and insurance.
He normally chimes in on this forum.

Just checked - doesn't look like Adventure Caravans has anything scheduled for Mexico. FMCA( https://www.fantasyrvtours.com) has a couple Baja tours in 2018. Baja is probably pretty safe, but the border areas farther east should likely be avoided.

DH and I have been researching this for over 2 months. We plan to leave Brownsville Texas around the 15th of November and head to LaPenita RV park. We're following an experienced traveler of over 15 years. There's a free caravan leaving Nogales Arizona on November 1st to LaPenita. A RV park owned by Canadians. PM me if you'd like more info.

Go to LaPenita RV park on facebook, ask to join and then post your question. On facebook search find a lady named Shirley Lewis and send her an inbox message of your questions. She and her husband are the wagon masters.

If you own your toad and/or RV, then be sure to bring the title to show ownership at the border. If you do not own either, then you will need to get the lien holder to agree in writing that it is OK for the vehicle(s) to enter and tor Mexico.
Do you need DEF diesel?
