RV'er-to-be checking in

Hubby and I are shopping for our first rv so we can travel as soon as he retires. I expect to travel lightly, just us and two medium size dogs. I have been lurking for a while, to learn about what I need to know. There is a lot of helpful stuff here, thanks so much. I will probably be posting some questions as we work through this process.

My wife and I are new, too (not a year yet). Found really useful info here and some great folks. Just picked up our new motorhome last Friday. Hope your chance arrives soon.

Hi. There's also a section on here about traveling with pets (we have 5 of various sizes). You might find a lot of good information there too.

You are so welcoming! We are looking at possibly getting a Camplite and towing it with a Jeep Grand Cherokee. We plan to tour the Livin Lite factory where they make the Camplite trailers. Reading the posts here makes me antsy to get going, but we are going to proceed carefully, to make sure that we get exactly what we need. At least, this is the plan. Will update as we do this.

We are from Indiana, and I see there are fellow Hoosiers here. Looking forward to meeting up in a campground.

Welcome, hope you've looked over the entire forum by now so you can ask your questions to the right bunch. We have found this forum to be very useful from everything about tires and motors to little things like toilet paper and washing detergent.
