Smile Sailboats, Powerboats, now Motorhome - New Member Checking In

Hello all - after years of boating, we're excited that we made the transition to our first RV. We just took posession of a very well maintained 2002 38' HR Endeavor, and we cant wait to learn it and get it on the road. Until I fully retire, we'll do short excurstions and west coast/desert, with the goal being cross country trip one day soon.
This site was insturmental in helping us with our search and subsequent purchase, and I know it will be invaluable as we get to know the coach. I think my experience with upgrading/maintaining boat systems will help, and I look foward to the point where I also can contribute forum topics and issues.

Cheers
Dale & Carol, & 2 boat dogs soon to be coach dogs , Gig Harbor, Wa

Welcome Wazaboater- we tow a 24 foot boat behind the rig a couple of times a year so for now we're doing both still. We go to Az. usually once a year but visit the Delta near our house here in No. Calif. often. Feel free to chime in whenever, we all learn things from eachother.

Hey wuzaboater! Wish I wuz!!! Weclome! Unfortunately I've been trying to sell my 41 Silverton for way too long now. So we have both! We are just getting to know our "new to us" 2003 Discovery coach, and have learned tons of valuable information on this site and met a lot of great people. Good luck with the new "lifestyle"! We are weekend warriors for the time being as well.... just on different coasts!

I'm in the same boat with a 43 tiara,so many regulations you can't hardly keep any fish.Used to be $10,000.00 a lb for fish now with fuel prices it is just a $10,000.00 a year hole in the water.

Have had several boats and lived on a 46 foot sail boat 12 years (was a great life). One of the best things about motor homes is they don't drag anchor at 0200! But like a sail boat it seems the wind is always from the wrong direction. Welcome, there is a wealth of information on irv2.

Welcome, sailors!

In your new rig, may the wind never be off the port bow, but instead strong astern
