Saying Hello
Hello, I've heard some good things about this forum and am sure I will find amazing information on here. We had an old 1996 Covington that was becoming a money-pit, so traded it in on a 2013 Thor ACE last month. It is still at the dealership having some upgrades and mods made to it. Planning on going full time when I retire as a teacher at the end of the 2013-2014 school year.

Actually this will be my second retirement. In a previous life I spent 22 years in the US Army. (sometimes I think going to war was easier than teaching 8th graders  )

I understand completely about the military being easier than teaching. I spent 26 years in the Navy and have been working as the Technology Manager in an elementary school the past 7 years. I'm retiring from the school district in May. The Navy was definitely easier. Only 25 more working days to my "actual" retirement. I'm looking forward to spending more time in our ACE as well.

Thanks and have fun in your retirement. I'm actually headed your way on our first big trip in the ACE this summer. Going back to Garland to visit the family.
