Searching for my first trailer

Hi.. I am very new to this site. I am in the process of selling my things and purchasing a 2017 evergreen igo 235rb. I've never lived on the road before and never pulled a trailer. Does anyone have any good advice for me? I'm excited but scared at the same time

Welcome to the Forum! You sure have come to the right place to educate yourself on RVing. There are threads above in drop down boxes on "Fulltiming", "Towing", Work Kamping" and anything you might think of.

I would suggest to you to get a water pressure regulator and water filter. CGs (camp grounds) are notorious for having high water pressure and not always the cleanest water. You can get them at Walmart for under $25. Will keep your plumbing safer and your shower cleaner.

Where are you looking at? I assume a RV dealership. Get the best deal you can. Make sure there is plenty of storage in the RV for everything you need to take with you. Make sure the dealership shows you how everything works and video it so you have it for later. CHECK the RV carefully.

When you get it, do your first camping in your driveway. Why? Because if you forget anything you can just walk in the house for it. Or a CG close by your house. It's a good way to learn.

Mostly though, have fun and enjoy your new lifestyle. Lynne

Glad to have you here with us.

Make a list of things you need to do when setting up camp and another for when you are breaking camp. Follow it all the time, it will relieve some of the angst!

Happy Trails!!
