Seattle greetings!

We have decided to give RVing a go! We loved backpacking but dear wife doesn't like setting up camp in the rain anymore! Plan to purchase new 2500 diesel truck and 23-25 foot trailer. We love reading the posts and have learned a ton already. Thanks in advance for your comments and suggestions. Here's to safe driving and beautiful lifetime memories!

Can't give any advice on a 5th wheel, but on a tow rig. Duramax with the Allison Transmission is hard to beat. That's what I had for 9 years for a tow vehicle. Never had a problem and sweet rigs !!

Oh yes. Hi !!

thanks for feedback... latest update

Thanks for the feedback. We are now leaning towards a 5th wheeler (around 30 feet) with F250 or F350 diesel 4 door. Have some specific questions about how to match the 5er with the tow vehicle - but will take it to the 5th wheel forum.

Happy and safe travels!
Diane
