Shopping for our first Motor Home.

With any luck our last as well. We live in Edmonton Canada and are close to retiring. Like many other's i'm guessing, we plan to sell everything, buy a motorhome, move to the west coast on Vancouver Island, drop anchor and travel from there...back to shopping.

Sounds like a great plan. I looked in the Edmonton / Calgary area for a MH for a couple months in the spring for a decent used MH. After looking at a dozen or so I gave up on the idea of finding something that excited me. I ended up buying one in Palm Springs Ca. The selection of used top brand names just isn't in the area up here. I went to a few dealers in the Red Deer area . All I found there was over priced junk . Looked on KIJIJI at some local stuff and there were a few that I considered but nothing real exciting. If your looking for used high end coach and can find a bargain I believe the south west USA is the place to shop

we are looking for used. 39 plus ft. diesel, 3 or 4 slides. between 70,000 & 100,000 US. right now we're doing a lot of research on the different units.
