Sitting on fence, wanna be RV
Hello!
What a great resource this site has been! I have been researching class B's. Spending hours trying to find out what people really think about their RV. I may have decided (or may not... Cause tomorrow is another day) on a Winnebago Travato. Compact, easy to drive, good mpg.... Yadda, yadda, yadda it's just Me and my big collie/shepard mix.... And an occasional friend/relative..2 people and a big dog
I also drove a 2010 Pleasure Way it costs almost as much as a new Travato! Budget and resale are important to me.
I look forward to another night of serious research and appreciate all feedback...maybe a push off the dang fence too!
I am worried about letting it sit outside all winter...a Wisconsin winter!
Oh what to do?

Welcome!
As far as your choice, my suggestion would be to make sure you set a Class B next to a Class C to see the size difference; for many people, they find the sacrifices of space (since even a little 24' Class C can have a slideout and a larger bathroom/shower) and grey/black tank sizes not to be worth it (since the costs are nearly the same).
Best of luck!
Steve

Welcome. I fully agree with Steve. Get the classifieds in your area and go out and look at all your options. You'll meet some great people, learn a lot, and have fun looking. Just have fun looking for a while. Don't rush buying. You'll know the right one when you see it.
P.S. I (we all) went thru this decision process. I found the best deals (for me) were on the used gas Class A's without slides.

Fell off the fence! Really I jumped in!
Thank you all for the welcome greetings and advice. I had been looking for about a month at used class B, mostly RT and PW. This week I drove a Travato too.I want to travel, camp in state and national parks (an occasional private campground), visit museums or other places in the city when opportunity arises, etc. that is why class B. It is just my size (I'm 5'1" and drive a MINI), easy to park! The Travato dealer gave me a price that made me want to jump in! I think he wanted to clear the lot for the 2015s. It was hard to walk away...really hard. But I kept thinking that as a new model, it is unproven in resale value. Winnebago is well known, but not this model. For someone on a tight budget it did tic most of my boxes. Then.... I got a call from another dealer where I had looked at a PW earlier in my search. He had one in on a trade that I could not resist! So I am the proud owner of a 2010 PW Excel ts2! I pick it up Tuesday and head out on the road Thursday! So excited!

Be sure to post pictures in another thread when you get it home and put a link here to that thread.
Congratulations and good luck with it.

Welcome to the Forum and we hope you have many great camping adventures. I have no experience with Class B or C's so I am sorry but can not help. We live full time in our rig and I hope never to be in any place that has snow. LOL Best of luck on you search.
Happy RV'ing
