We just purchased a 333DB Montana and a 2008 F350 Diesel Dually Crew Cab with a Hensley Hitch, airbags and auxillery fuel tank. We have never owned anything but a 4-man tent and a Volvo SUV previous to this purchase. We take delivery in a couple of weeks and are very excited. This sounds crazy, but we have a lot of learning and practice to do as we have never hitched up or pulled anything before. We really jumped in with both feet. I just started looking at all of the threads and post and have come to the conclusion that we will definitely come to rely on this wonderful site with all of you very generous and experienced RV'ers.

One forum that may be of particular interst to you is the 5th Wheel Discussion Forum.

You already appear to be on the right track by reading up on everything, some of the best answers come from reading questions you have not thought about asking yet.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new rig!

A little over four years ago we were where you are now... jumping from a tent to a 40' DP. We've learned most of what we know about RVing right here on this forum so you've come to the right place. Feel free to post any questions you might have or just join in on any of the many conversations always underway.

Thank you so much for your replies. It is comforting to know there are generous people like you to help 1st timers like us. I am busy reading all that I can so that we are ready to pick up our Montana.
Thanks again to all of you who have replied in such a short time.

Awesome, welcome to the fun! I just went from tent to full blown camper too! This board is awesome. I am hooked on it. Tons of knowledge and real life experience from every corner of the map on every kind of set up. If you are a techy/iphone family get the app too!

Welcome to iRV2 and all the available knowledge here.
We pulled a rent TT behing our VW and later ended up buying a TT and MH (3). We learned as we went across the country. 3 years ago I came across this side and now I understand, what we missed all those years. Oh - we still had lots of fun, I think
