Sooo much information

We have been looking and saving for Jayco Greyhawk for last two years. We have been 100% certain of this choice until recently.
Now everyone is chipping in, jayco is not what it was go with Winninego get an older (7 yrs) class A as C's have more problems.
This is a one time purchase for 5-8 years usage on vacations only. Our income is very limited and once retired will be considerably less.
We just want to go down the road camping and see some sites along the way without paying a small fortune on repairs.

Thanks for all your help

Welcome to the forums! I’m not sure who everyone is but, if there were only one right answer to that question there would not be so many RV manufacturers. The best answer is what unit do you feel is the best for you. A new unit should come with a warranty where an older unit won’t. A brand new rig can have issues just like a 7 year old unit. A 7 year old unit will have more wear and tear on it than a new unit. If you can get an older unit for far less money and put the difference aside for repairs, you might be money ahead in a few years. However, a new unit will have more resale value in 8 years than a 15 year old unit. And on and on ....

Welcome. Both (new vs used) have pluses and minuses many of which were pointed out by Dsallach. Get out and look at multiple options and pick what will work for you.

Thanks for all your help

Try looking at 3-4 year old units first from single owners if possible.

Issues have already been taken care of (usually anyway) and it is ready to go.
Warranty in place if possible on 3 yr old or newer units.

Original owner sellers are my first go to.

Usually about half price by then too. Mine was at 3 yrs.

from WA State.

The never ending question is what to buy, new or old, large or small, do I like the interior, does my significant other like the interior and so on.
My late wife didn't like the present rig but let me buy it anyway, I guess she figured she could live with it and now I have to.
