Tahoe water damage

Hello my name is ernie. need help from anyone on this matter,have 04 24'tahoe trailer noticed flooring lifting ,removed part of floor from underneath and found that it was holding water bought this trailer 3yrs ago used from the dealer on so 101 morganhill ca. Going to Check with Ins co. hoping they can cover damage. If someone had this problem and can help in finding the leak estamate its cost please respond asap 'its starting to look like no vac anytime soon.P.S. going to shop for a cabover,or 5th wheel until this serious matter is corrected note 1st time ever emailing

Ernie, welcome to iRV2.com. We are glad to have you join us here and look forward to reading of your adventures and experiences. Sorry to hear of the water damage to your travel trailer. Water can come in from the roof, windows, compartment doors and the corners down the front and side walls. Look for any gap in sealant that looks suspect. You will probably have to replace the floor. Good luck with the insurance company. Keep us posted.

Glad to have you here on iRV2. Sure wish you did not have a first post with a problem. Like above notes, it could be roof, windows aor lacker doors leaking to cause the problem. Water will travel a distance once it gets inside and can ba a bear to chase down.

Hope you get it fixed soon.
