Thumbs up Thanks for all the advice

I have been following this forum for awhile now and the information I have received has educated me on my recent TV purchase and future 5er. We have originally planned on purchasing a F-250 SWR, but upon reading, that would not be wise choice for a "full timer" rig. We decided to step it up a notch and go with a 2013 F-350 DWR 6.7 powerstroke. Couldn't be happier with the truck. Our plan is to pay off the TV and start fulltiming next year. We have been requesting information from the manufactors and visiting the dreaded dealers. I have told them up front that we are not going to purchse a unit now so it can sit in storage with the warranty ticking away. But as you all know, they all want a sale now. In fact, they came down $40,000 off the MSRP on a paticular unit that we were considering. I just don't want it sitting without being used. Seems like you would want to work out all the bugs while there still is some coverage. Insulation, dual pane windows, axle rating, and overall build is on the top of my list.... Of course with the DW, it's the floor plan. If finances permitted, I would go New Horizons and have the best of both worlds. However, as with anything else, there must be some sacrifices. I feel confident that the more I read in here, the better prepared I will be. Thanks folks, you have already saved me some headaches!

Hello and welcome to the forum! It's fun to shop and compare, so if you aren't ready to buy then enjoy looking and deciding what's on your "must have" list.
