We show as "experienced" but we're really not. The signature MH is our second one and we're just finishing our third (very brief) season with it. We had our earlier rig for just two seasons before we realised what a clunker it was and managed to sell it.

As a former motorcycle engineer (Test and Development at Norton) and aerospace engineer (a British Aircraft Corp apprenticeship then 29 years at Boeing), I'm able to figure out a lot of "stuff", so I come across as more experienced than I really am.

Still and all, anytime I can stick in my bit, I try to do the best I can. This is an awesome group of people.

again thank you. we used this site when we were shopping for our rv. there is a lot of useful info here. we bought our trailer in june and have gotten 6 trips in since then. not only is this our 1st rv but, our 1st winter living where it gets cold. (snow country) we have used this site for information about winterizing and storage. this forum has already saved us $400. we really thought we needed to purchase a cover. (glad to know we dont) i still wonder what is the best way to keep the awning from sun damage. where our trailer is parked our awning is facing the sun almost all day.
happy trails, jk
