Hello all!
Been lurking over the past few weeks while going crazy impatiently waiting to take delivery of a previously enjoyed 2005 GulfStream SunVoyager. Owners were retired folk who were negatively impacted by the economic downturn.
Fortunately, we were able to put together a deal to purchase their motorhome and help them to avoid a more negative situation. We got the paperwork finalized a week ago and I am smiling like a proud papa admiring her sitting in my front yard.
We are located in Pennsylvania and the weatherman is calling for unfavorable weather all weekend. Doesnt he know we want to open this big girl all up and give her a real good once over and thorough spring cleaning? Grrrrrrrr
We have owned a 32' 1998 GulfStream SunSport for the past 5 years. We arent so much campers as we are Drag Racing folk who enjoy having our home on wheels at the track with us. I will be listing this older unit up for sale and hope the next owner gets to enjoy her as much as we have. Girlfriend REALLY likes the new motorhome so I think that means we might be doing some more camping than we have previously...
Looking forward to being part of the community!
Chris

Thanks for the welcome and congratulations. Our Brick n Sticks is right off PA turnpike exit number 298 in the "dont blink or you'll miss it" town of Elverson.
The majority of the racing we do is at Maple Grove. We have an EX NMRA Heads up street car years ago and assembled it for my girlfriend to drive. Nothing to fancy. Is a 1988 Mustang coupe that runs a naturally asspirated 347 on pump gas and drag radials. Something for her to get to have some fun with and its been a best of high 10s at 121.
For the last 5 years we rented an RV slot along the fence at MG during the NHRA national event. Now that we got the new big girl we will try to get a slot along the fence for the Zmax 4 wide NHRA National event for next year. It is amazing how strongly two 8,000 HP Nitro burning engines rattle a motor home as they go by at 300 mph. Cant wait to see what its like with 4 of them!
Chris

Chris, welcome to iRV2 & congrats on the new MH.
When you come to Concord for the Z Max you will be practically in my back yard. I live about 4 miles from the track & when the Nitro burners open it up, it sounds like they are just on the other side of the hill from me. Won't be home tomorrow to hear them unless they run into the evening. I have to work. Very well may end up going into the evening or Monday due to the storms we are experiencing today.
