Tiff in the Carolina's

Hi!
So excited to be a member of your community! We are new RVers.

Bought a Tiffin Allegro Bus 1997. I searched for that specific floor plan and we found "Tiff" in Florida.

Jeff and I will be avid readers and forum-followers in order to learn from you, our community members.

We will be updating our new part-time home and office, as we continue full-time employment in Upstate SC.

Adventures abound.
Our first 60 miles had a blowout.
Our first overnight, was a long one. No sleep for me at 24 hr. Walmart parking lot, wondering if the carbon monoxide detector was working...

Been cleaning for days. Replacing things that rattle and jiggle. And, getting systems checked.

It gets better,right? lol

See you on the road!

Congratulations. It gets a lot better, but will always need some tending to. We have found that constant use minimizes a number of issues that are caused by sitting. Seals stay lubed, systems get worked. Enjoy it. We are in year 20 of RV ownership. We have had just 2 RVs. We had the first one for 16 years.

Hi Heidi & Jeff! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

Congrats on the new rig! CO detectors should be replaced periodically, 10 years I think but not sure. Look at the code date on it and don't take any chances!
Have fun and keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Welcome to the forum! We are in Upstate SC as well. We've had our Open Road for about 5 months. Sounds like you're enjoying your new Bus!

Welcome to the forum.

You are joining a good group of folks here with good info to share. The learning curve is long but thankfully only steep in the beginning.

Enjoy the adventure!
