Time to do it....

... before I get too old.

I've threatened for years now to uproot and do what I should have done back when I was 25 :/ So, here I am, starting yet another account on another forum looking for information during the planning stages.

Planning what, you may ask? Well me and Dixie the Wonder Dog are going to sell our place in SD (keep our residency here), get shiny new 1 ton dually pickup and have North American build us our new home. I'll do all the juggling and Renaissance festivals on a rotating circuit, wintering where it doesn't freeze and following the fun otherwise.

I've spent the last three weeks doing a LOT of reading and have figured out a number of things, primarily the legal stuff, and think I've found what I'm looking for in a 5th wheel depending on whether Terry at NAT has a heart attack or not when he finally gets through the novel I wrote him. I've got lots of questions about other things, though, and hope to get even more opinions and experiences from folks who have been there, done that.

See you in the funny papers

Good luck in your new venture! IMHO the 5'ers offer the best layouts and room so you shouldn't have any problem finding something you love.

Keep juggling!

Hey Juggler,

Welcome to the Forum! This is a great place to do your research and a lot of nice people here too.

Under "Forums" Dixie might want to check out a thread on "Rving with Pets". As for you, under "RV Forums" you will find a 5th wheel thread. Sounds like the two of you plan to travel and have some fun together.

RVing is a great way to travel. Hope you find the rig that works right for you and find the Renaissance circuit that works best too. One of my favorite things to do is festivals.
Love the sunshine and warmer weather!
