I also am a new member also. Divorcing my wife of 35 years as she has found a younger, more handsome, darker complected, pretty boy who does it for her. She even accepts that she is one of his several. Yes, I am broken, sickened and looking for good travel planning software that goes from Alaska to South America. Trip Tik seems good but stops at the Mexico border. I had something on a CD a few years ago but have no idea where it is now. .... Suggestions? Senior "Junior" Member of 62.
Semper fi to everyone who has served.
Tried to enter a Signature line: (thumbs up avatar) "The bear is going over the mountain." and received an error message of "1. BB code size value is too big."
Browsed my computer for a forum avatar; found one 220x215 & 37.3K but got an error message that the file was to large to upload.

Welcome to the forum. You will find many nice people here. Try Microsoft Streets and trips, I live in AK so I know it works great going that way just not sure about going south.

You ,now the cause of Divorce? Marraige.. yup, there have been attempts to divorce without getting married first, but it nearly never works..

So much for the jokes.

Now.... to your avatar problem... There are a number of "Re-size" programs on the web.. The one I use (Thumbs +) you pay for but you should be able to find a "Picture Resizer" for free.. In fact I think Microsoft has one you can download.

Cut the blang thing in half, both directions (1/4 the file size) and see if that works.

It seemed to work ... after a while. F 2/7 was my company in Vietnam.
I may visit the local AAA store for a look at trip tik. The MS Streets I should can experiment with online. The Garmin gps I have does not have maps of hardly anything outside the US.
