We've been looking for an RV to purchase as our first ever RV. We have no knowledge, no experience but we're anxious to start. We have the opportunity to purchase a 1991 Corsair 34 ft. pull behind for $4000. Is this a good price? Is this a good RV? Will it be hard for us to pull, with no experience? The guy said it has a new furnace and it looked in decent shape.
We said we'd give him an answer in the morning. I would so appreciate some input from you all with experience.
Thanks!

For pricing info on used trailers, check NADA Guides.

Also, check back to your OTHER POST reguarding the 34' trailer and the Expedition. My experience says no on the trailer with your truck.

Glad to have you here.

Thanks so much for the info. We're going to pass on this because we just don't think we can tow it safely.
Where does one go to find TT? We live in South Central PA. Everyone keeps telling us that this is a good time to buy but....

020202, welcome to iRV2.com. We are glad to have you join us here and i would advise that you do your homework, take your time, and do not rush into buying the first things you find. You can check our classifieds (button at top of page). talk to those that have a similar if not identical unit you like for a floorplan. Good luck and enjoy the website.

We are going out today shopping/looking at some RV places between us and Maryland. We'd like to find about a 25 ft. TT, we don't want to invest too much into it because it's our maiden voyage, so to speak. This board is a wealth of information, I'm addicted already and I don't even have an RV yet. Although it's making me put the pressure on my husband tho, I'm excited to get on the road.

Don't know what town you live in in south central pa, but Sunline makes a very good trailer and they are manufactured right in your neck of the woods, around Lancaster, (we'll be camping in Lancaster this weekend, as a matter of fact).

Don't be too much in a hurry to get a good deal on a year end sale. If you buy quickly, you will probably end up with a camper that isn't right for you and you'll be changing it out sooner than you planned.

Since you sound pretty new to the shole idea, I suggest you wait and do your homework over of off season. It's true you may pay a bit more in the spring, but you'll be far ahead in knowing what you want and what you can safely tow.

Good luck.
