Total Noobs

my wife and I are in the planning stages of the next phase of our lives. We currently live in South Bend IN. Our plan is in 2016 to buy an RV and move to Oregon. Once their we plan on using the RV as a permanent residence for a couple of years until we find the perfect place to settle down. We are using this site to learn as much as possible to eliminate as many mistakes as possible and hopefully eliminate some stress. We are still deciding on New Vs Used or Gas Vs Diesel. We feel we both would prefer a class A. I am sure we will be popping in with questions in the coming months. We plan to attend a few shows and even do some plant tours. The goal is to be as educated as possible when we pull the trigger.

Welcome to IRV2. Your doing the right thing.....looking for info before making a decision on your new rig. We found the process of gathering info about rigs a lot of fun and a huge education. Good luck with your search and choice.

Safe and Happy Travels

Welcome to the forum!

Don't let any salesperson rush you into buying. Looking is, and should be fun.

Welcome

Welcome aboard, you are in the right place to gather information and opinions about every aspect of RV'ing. You will get a wide variety of views, I hope they help with your decision.

The gas vs. diesel discussion will yield much reading on here.

Then class A is probably a must if you plan to use it like a residence. Good luck and happy "hunting"
