I agree w/Gary in general. However, I used to have a Honda Odyssey. The manual said nothing about towing 4 down. I asked the service manager about it and he printed the procedures for towing the Odyssey. Never did figure out why it wasn't in the manual.

I haven't read this whole thread, so I hope I'm not repeating this. I can't remember where I found it, but there is a master list of towable vehicles. I think it is from Motorhome magazine.

Here is a link to the Motorhome Magazine list of 2006 vehicles that can be towed 4 down. It is a long link but should take you to the proper pages.

Welcome to iRV2!

I have towed a 2003 Acura TL 4 down for 12,000 + miles Transmission in neutral and key in the ignition. As I understand it all Honda FWDs are tow-able 4 down without any modifications.
Check with "Remco" for information on what is required for a specific vehicle i.e. Lube pump, drive shaft disconnect etc.

SMI "Silent Partner" vacuum assisted brake system (compressor is permanently mounted in the trunk)

I would also like to welcome you to irv2. I am also new and have found this to be an excellent group of individuals, many of whom are very willing to help. I think you will find that there is a huge amount of knowledge available here.

I tow a 2004 Honda Pilot 4WD - the last year that the Pilot was towable. I don't think though that all Honda 4WD's are towable all down. In fact I believe the only Honda towable all down now is the CRV.

We tow a Scion four-down - it's made by Toyota. Have had great luck with it.
