Trip Planning

My wife and I are planning our "dream trip" in Spring of 2012. We live on the east coast of Florida and are heading to Colorado (Cortez, Telliride/Durango) first. From there we expect to go to Arizona for the deep hole and Canyon DeChelley. The a few days in San Diego to visit "grands" and other family. From there we planned Yosemite, Napa, Reno, an on up to Oregon. We were told that we should do the Oregon coast. Then on to Wyoming and Montana and to South Dakota. I would appreciate any suggestions on side trips and other points of interest.
We are planning a side trip to Napa/Calistoga for mud baths and wine tasting. Any help, including side trips and a route to anywhere would be helpful.

Welcome to IRV2! Sounds like you have a great trip planned. If you are in the Pan Handle of Texas I suggest the Palo Duro Canyon State Park. Just be prepared to not have internet or phone service as you camp at the bottom of the canyon. I know others will chime in with their favorites. Have a safe and wonderful journey!

Here's a link to the blog I started when we got our first motorhome right after we retired. I haven't added to it in a while (got busy traveling!) but if you click on 2007 Blog and 2008 Blog, you'll find information about the places we visited. The 2007 trip started in PA, went as far as the Grand Canyon (interesting end to that trip) and back home. The 2008 trip left PA and went out to Yellowstone. Saw lots of places in-between. Hope it helps.
