I have had the distinct pleasure of visiting aboard the HMCS Ottawa (DDH229) (Saint Lawrence Class) during the INR in New York Harbor so many years ago.

I spent some time with the members of the HelAirDet - The Eagle Beavers.

IMD - I'm afraid you could sling our little trailite b+ on the back of your unit like a life boat ( which when you think of it is sort of fitting!!). This will be our first full season too and looking forward to it. If you are ever up in Ontario drop me a line. In the mean time enjoy your new command. Course is plotted and on the board.
