Aside from my 'camping' exeriences in the U.S. Army, my first camping trip was to Acadia National Park in a tent. I quickly realized I wanted to be up off the ground, so I upgraded to a pop-up. One weekend of boondocking and I wanted my own bathroom, so the next one was a 25' travel trailer. Eventually I traded that in for a toy hauler in order to bring the Harley along. Two weeks ago I traded the toy hauler in on a 35' Winnebago with plans to do the snowbird thing.
It's funny how I wanted my own bathroom so badly at one point, and now that I have to pay attention to black/grey/fresh water capacities I strive to use the park facilities whenever possible.
