Ut noooooob

The DW and I drove our new to us '95 Pace Arrow Coronado (30H I believe) from Washington state to Utah last fall. Her dear pops (he's 81) had had about enough of her I guess but they used it well. Full-timed it in AZ during winters, back to the Seattle area in the spring/summer.

Anyway, this is my first MH experience and only previous experience was a tent trailer and a fairly small one at that. We used the MH the weekend after we got at a state park and then put her away for the winter.

I got it out today, goes to the shop tomorrow for safety and emissions, then I go to the DMV for title and registration. Our first outing will be in May me thinks. We'll drag along a 9 year old and a dog.

I have posted a couple of times already in the Fleetwood Owners forum and have learned a ton just reading through pages of stuff in here. There are some funny people on here, too.

So hello to everyone!!

Greg

P.S. Questions (some dumb) are sure to follow.

Thank you Art, Sarah, Brenda, and ghost for the welcome.
MH passed safety and emissions so it's off to the DMV tomorrow morning.
I spent the better part of the last couple of days just dinking around inside, cleaning and fixing little things here and there and testing the systems.

When I tested the plumbing I was shocked at the sediment that went through and completely clogged the kitchen faucet and the shower faucet (cold side only). Not sure if it came from the city side or the fresh water tank but I think I tried city water first.

Anyway, thanks again.

It's way better to learn about the pitfalls by reading about them here than to find out for yourself while your out on the road.

By the way, we live in Tacoma area and I'd love to come back to UT for an extended stay. I lived in Layton, UT for about 4 years in the early 90's. If anyone's not been to Utah, you should check it out. I particularly fell in love with the Moab area there's a reason why there's are like 5 National Parks in the area. It's a beautiful state, not just a giant Salt Lake.

Glad to see see another new member, you will have a great time ahead and will make many memories that will last a lifetime. Ask away with those questions, none are dumb and the options you receive with the answers are great. Enjoy your new toy and safe travels.
