Hi all,
My wife Denise and I have been enjoying camping in an older Scamper 17 foot travel trailer and we just found a great buy in a Diplomat 23 foot C Class. It needs some TLC but so did out travel trailer when we first obtained it. We plan to do a lot of camping back and forth across both Canada and the USA, over the next while. W are both retired so we will hopefully get into a lot of fun escapades while traveling.

looking forward to reading your posts and assisting where we can.

Thanks for the site
Dennis Dalla-Vicenza (aka Possum)

Welcome aboard, Possum. And congrats on the new-to-you Diplomat. Adding the TLC is part of the fun - it really makes it your own!!!

Been busy working on the small things needing repair. Last evening I found out the clearance lights don't work so I am trying to figure out where they are fed from to start the electrical continuity tests. )

The fun begins.

By the way the unit has a GMC 400 CI motor and 16.5" wheels. Any guess at the footage er mileage I can expect?

Any pics of your 17 foot scamper trailer? I might have the same one as yours. Would like to see it.

I think I have some on an old hard drive no longer in use. I will check in the next little bit and post them. I took nothing of the inside though as it never occurred to me to do so.
