While I continue to toil on the thought of which RV might best fit us in our future lifestyle I always come back to either a 26-29 foot class C or a 30 to 32 foot class A. Now either way we will be purchasing a used vehicle so I continue to research what the gotchas are in the used RV market.
My wife and I hope to be fulltiming in March 2011... we need all the help we can get...

HeyDuke, Welcome glad to have you you have joined one of the most informative RV sites around. I'm sure you have seen all the listings for the Mfg's, of most RV's. Again Welcome glad to have you here. You may want to try rentals of both a C and a Class A to kinda get the feel. Take your time and research, we're sure you'll fing a rig to fit you needs,, Happy hunting.

Welcome to a great site, and as mentioned b4, you came to the right site. Just jump in anytime, someone is always there to answer you question's. As for the choice of a A or a C, the market is wide open, plenty to choose from, so take your pick and enjoy. good luck,
David G.

Glad to have you here on iRV2. As with anything used, be sure and do a very through inspection. Get a 3rd party that you hire to do a very through inspection of the unit to be sure all systems are working 100%.
And be sure that you get every last thing promised by the sales person in writting on the contract.

Welcome. Take your time in finding the right rig. We thought we would be great in a smaller class a, found a very nice safari trek. It was great and served our needs very well the past 5 years. We upgraded this past year to a slightly used rig, and wish we would of bought something like this when we first got on the road.

Well my wife and I are snall people with small needs... what we we do want in our fulltime experience is the opportunity to park in state parks and national parks as well as some boondocking... from what I have read 30 feet is about the recommended limit to being able to access all these sites so that is why I am focusing on this size rig in A or C...
