Warm in Puerta Penasco Mexico

Just registered with iRV2 and thought you all should know that it's warm and sunny down here. Been travelling to PP for 8 years now and it appears to continue to be safe and sound. Staying at Playa Bonita RV Park. A lovely park right on the beach, full hookups and free wifi. It's a fun place to visit for 2 months each Jan and Feb. Come on down!!

Hi tempura. Last week I would have been ready to go anywhere it was warm, but its back up to 70 in Florida, so maybe next year.

Where is this PP.

I just returned from sailing the Mexican Coast from Puerto Vallarta to Ziuatanejo. Several of the communities we visited were built around American RV parks...interesting. Pat and I are considering Mexico as a winter hideout.
Where is PP?

Yep, it is still a little warmer in the southwest than most places.

2 questions:

1) Is ULSD diesel available in the area

2) Do you need additional vehicle insurance? What is the costy?

Thanks

Eh!

Not too far from the border, si'? Rocky Point must have flocks of gringos snowbirding. Too hot for summer living, eh? Please tell me more about your experiences driving to and from, the border inspections/hassles, any banditos along the way; y'know, stuff like that. Is your stay limited, or can you extend for multiple months? How far is it to a cantina or mercado? I'm just curious about the whole idea. Gracias.
