Newmar doesn't build on speculation. Every RV produced has been "special ordered" by either the buyer or dealer unlike some other brands that don't/won't make any changes.
Then there are those of us that have ordered true specials like having doors and walls removed. (DW is claustrophobic) We ordered ours in 2002, but the floor plan is closer to a 2004 model. Guess Newmar liked the idea so they offered it.
