We just bought our first Class A

We are definitely newbies! We previously owned an older bumper pull that we used only a few times locally for weekends with our grandkids but we are looking to start traveling some and have just bought a 99 Coachmen Catalina. The interior has been completely updated with new carpet, window dressings, etc in a contemporary black, ivory and tan. It looks gorgeous on the inside and well maintained on the exterior. We have some experienced RVing friends impressed with the deal we got on it and how clean it is and we couldnt be more proud! First few weeks were spent getting it new shoes and a carport over it. This extreme weather forced us to winterize it before getting to do more than spend one night at a local park just to see how it sleeps...which was great! I am eagerly waiting for an opportunity to long haul south for a long weekend to really try it out! We have fitted it out (I think thats what you call it when its all packed with its own life necessities lol) and my husband came home tonight with our new to us tow dolly! I really can't wait to get started on the road!

That's exactly what I'm afraid of! Lol. I usually love the holidays, especially Christmas but I am staying so distracted with the RV and dreaming of our first roadtrip I'm afraid I'm going to miss the holidays alltogether!

Welcome to the irv2 gang and congrats on your purchase of a Catalina! Sorry the cold weather kicked in, but maybe you can squeeze in some warmer days so you can take a trip in your new wheels. Enjoy!
