Welcome from The Villages Fl

Hi, I found iRV2 only because I was looking for help on a specific issue. But this site is a gold mine. Gonna be spending a lot of time here.
Wife & I returned to RVing after many years away. Retired & living in The Villages Fl, a great community for retirees. But, RVing has its own special rewards. So, we bought an old Itasca, very low mileage but with many "age" issues, & found a '97 Saturn to tow. Don't go fast, but do go steady. BTW, as I post this, the temp in Central Fla is 24 degrees F. Happy New Year.

Welcome and I will tell you, its not much warmer down in South Florida.

I am also now in the process of trading for a low mileage fixer upper, like you I don't get in a big hurry, thats why I retired. If you go the same way as me on the interstate, you'll probably pass me

Kay;

We are glad you found us. I believe you made a smart decision to get back into RVing. I have found there is no better way to spend quality time together and see America at the same time. Post often and share your RV adventures with us. Don't be afraid to ask questions.

Don

24 degrees? Hmmm, that's only 5 higher than here in central WI right now.

Welcome to IRV2. Be sure to post photos of your 'project', and keep us up to date on your adventures.

Welcome Folks, it is in deed an awesome site with probably the friendliest group of folks you will find anywhere...... We're about 35 miles west of St. Augustine so temps may be just a little warmer next to the St. Johns.... Travel Safe and Enjoy....bill

Hi Kayjones - we are nearly neighbors. Our home base is east of Ocala/Silver Springs, out in the National Forest

Thanks all for your friendly posts. BTW RVhauler, we store our RV at Recreation Plantation (Very friendly, helpful, very reasonable) & would love to share a meal next time you are here. The Villages has many fine dining spots.
Any RVers in our area, pls call for social meeting at lunch or supper.
