Western New York check in

We are a family of 4 and we are waiting on a 1989 Tiffin Allegro. It will be our first rv. I am a stay at home dad after having my 3rd back surgery. I wanted to get an rv to explore with the wife and kids. My wife loves exploring for driftwood and seashells, so trips along the great lakes is on the list. We can't wait to aquire the rv and make some renovations. I have been lurking on here absorbing all the knowledge that is on here.

Well Hello

Welcome to the Forum! You and your family are going to love this. These rigs can be amazing and if you do your maintenance they can last you a long time.

I too have back problems but love going out in our rig. There is a lot to learn on here and if you go to YouTube and enter "Emptying my tanks on my RV' you will be amazed at what you can find. Enter any subject RV and you can see how to repair your water heater, your AC, and how to drive it even.

You are going to have a great time. When you get her, post a pic on your new rig. We love to see your rig.

Lynne

Welcome from one Western New Yorker to another. There are a number of us on here. We won’t be hitting the road again until April. We have to navigate another tax season before we can hit the highway.

Hey there... We lived in the southern-tier area of WNY for 60+ years. The last 15 of those 60 were in Ellicottville. Then we both retired and moved down south. Good luck on your new purchase !

I am now a retired tractor trailer driver. After the third operation, Dr said no more over the road for me. The benefits of an rv is I can stop anytime I want.
