We're proud owners of a new 2005 Winnebago Adventurer 38J and took our first weekend shakedown cruise last weekend. We love it and expect that, following our full retirement in January or so, we will travel in it the 100 nights a year we envisioned when we decided to buy this.
We're in a new (to us) house and new (to us) community here in Nashville, TN and a key deciding point in selecting this home was that it was in a gated community where we could store our MH on our own property. Rare and hard to find that combo, and we're glad we did. Coming home Sunday morning, I couldn't imagine having to return the MH to a hot storage parking lot, no matter how nice, having to unpack into a car at that location, and having to reverse the entire thing when we next go out in the MH.
This house needs a lot of updating, and we haven't bought used before, but now I'm glad we did!
We're looking forward to meeting folks on this board.

It sounds like you have the perfect combination with your home/community/RV!
And Welcome to iRV2 !
And i can't help but thinking, if the community you now live in attracts RV'ing folk to live there, your neighbors are probably great people as well.
Welcome aboard,
Mike

Janjanjan:
Nice to have you here!
You also picked a location that is just about ideal to "travel" from in the sense that it's in the middle of a whole lot of things, so enjoy the new life and the new rig. You guys should have lots of time on your hands when not travelling to "fix-up" your new place and it's like a built-in hobby, Lord knows you need one when retired!!
Good Luck.
Bob
