What does DH & DW stand for?

I am sure the W & H are husband and wife but not sure what the D stands for in front of them. What other abbreviations are there on the forums? RV language I assume?

I am really enjoying this site and learning what I will need to know to go out full timing. Thank you all for the help.

To answer the second part of your question the acronyms could be related to the coach, engine manufacturer, or standard texting shorthand. Just depends on the post.

Examples:

MADP - Mountain Aire Diesel Pusher.
KADP - King Aire Diesel Pusher.
DSDP - Dutch Star Diesel Pusher.
AC - Alternating Current.
A/C - Air Conditioning.
OTOH - On The Other Hand.
BTW - By The Way.

and so on. Just have to decipher it within the post your are reading. Only way is to "hack" your way through it.

Welcome to the Forum and the terminology can be different from person to person as you can see. Just post a question and hopefully someone will give you a correct answer. LOL Best of luck on your RV travels.

George and Brenda, Understand what you mean about difference person to person. When in college I received a failure on a paper I thought was pretty good. When I asked the professor what was wrong with the paper she said "We don't use that language in this class." I asked what language? I had used SOB in the paper and she thought I meant what you are probably now thinking. I smiled at her and said I am in the medical field, SOB is Short of Breath.

I received my A
